It takes more than a voice to make a great song. X-Factor’s Rebecca Ferguson co-wrote her entire debut album Heaven, released December 2011. “Teach Me How To Be Loved”, co-written and produced by Jonny Lattimer, is my favorite song on the album. The beautiful lyrics and vocal performance remind me of Adele and Amy Winehouse. Take a listen before it hits the radio this year as her 4th single.

Born in Harlem, New York, Azealia Banks is slowly making her mark in music. Interscope signed the rapper, singer, and lyricist this year. Her sound is a mix of M.I.A., Santigold, and Jay Z combined with beats that resemble the culture found in Harlem. Look out for her debut album “Broke With Expensive Taste” this September!
Many of you may know Edward Maya by his smash single “Stereo Love”, which hit US radio years after it was released. Take a listen to “Desert Rain” featuring Vika Jigulina.
